When golfers admit to feeling "brain dead" and "unconscious" -- as Rory McIlroy did at Muirfield on Thursday -- perhaps it's time to book an appointment with the doctor.
Mike Margolies's insight:
I guess it speaks of success. I'd love to have reporters call every time a notable athlete crashes. The truth is that Bob deserves the attention having worked his way into the PGA Tour three decades ago. I told one of his stories to an athlete today, just to make a point. Of course Rory would be welcome to call me as well (haha), it is far less public. Sometimes being the best kept secret in Mental Training has an advantage. At other times you have to ask, well how will they find out about The Mental Game otherwise. It is a dilemma.
